Alana De La Garza, an incredible actress who is a legend in the world of television. De La Garza's parents were from Ireland and Mexico. The actress was born in Columbus, Ohio, on December 26, 1976. Soon enough she was relocating to Texas where she pursued her career in physical therapy with the University of Texas. De La Garza did not reside in Texas for long and soon transferred in Orlando Florida, where she was able to take on various roles as an actor including independent local films and commercials. Even though she had small parts, she rapidly discovered her love of acting. She moved in New York and in 2001 she landed her first part on the daytime soap show All My Children as Rosa Santos. Through the first half of 2000 she was a small part on JAG Las Vegas and Two and a Half Men. Her first major part came in 2004's miniscule dramatic The Mountain. The character was Maria Serrano and De La Garza was fortunate enough to appear alongside a number of top TV actors like Barbara Hershey Oliver Hudson Penn Badgley Anson Mount and Mitch Pileggi. The role she played was A.D.A. in Law & Order which was where her most memorable performance was that of 2006. Connie Rubirosa. She appeared on 85 episodes. Then she joined the brief-lived spinoff Law & Order: LA. De La Garza was nominated for numerous awards in the character's honor, such in the category of Best Supporting Actress Television Imagen Foundation Awards or even ALMA Award Nominated. In addition, the National Hispanic Media Coalition awarded her with the Impact Award, which is given for outstanding performances in a drama television series. A short moment later De La Garza was cast in CSI Miami in a recurring character. She starred as Marisol Delko. She is the spouse of David Caruso's Horatio. She played Dr. Lena Solis, she was last seen on NBC's rather dark drama Do No Harm. Alyssa Milano was cancelled by NBC in the first two episodes.
